I am passionate about skiing, sport and physical activity. I would love the chance to share this passion with you and help make a positive difference to your performance, confidence and enjoyment. My style of teaching and coaching is learner centred making sure you are getting the most out of your experience and that you are successful in reaching your goals.

Amanda's
story

Amanda has an inspirational ski teacher and coach. Her extensive experience includes leading the coaching team for GB's most successful Paralympic Ski Team, coaching national teams and clubs, as well as groups and individuals at every level from beginner to instructor. Amanda loves this variety and the fulfilment of seeing progress in every skier's performance, understanding, confidence and enjoyment. She uses her enthusiastic, positive personality along with her PE teaching experience and her knowledge of ski technique to get the best from whoever she is teaching.

 

Amanda raced as a member of the British Senior Ski Team, training and racing around the world to achieve a best World Ranking of 56. This required determination and dedication which Amanda has in bucketfuls. Her love of skiing will come across in her lessons and when she is not teaching she can be found skiing the mountains with a smile.

 

Amanda’s technical skiing skills and knowledge are amongst the best; she is a BASI Trainer and is a member of the National Education Team.

- Level 4 International Ski Instructor Diploma

- European Off-piste and Mountain Safety

- Level 3 UKCP National Coach Award

- Adaptive Ski Instructor Level 1

BSc Honours Degree in Sports Science from Loughborough University

MSc Business Management
